Take it nice:
Feed Fido a treat
by hand. If you feel his teeth at all,
say “OUCH!” in a deep tone and refuse to release it. Take it back, say “Take it nice,” and try
again. Only release the treat when the
dog is taking it very gently. Dogs have
incredible control over their teeth and jaws, and can be incredibly gentle when
encouraged to do so. If your dog
continues to grab hard or breaks skin, consult with an expert.
